</a>  When government interferes, there are ALWAYS unintended consequences. Our President just overruled and entire cadre of Patent and Trademark officials, lawyers, and precedent. I would see that as fair, but companies in other countries might imagine it is favoring a local firm, and ask their governments to return the favor.
